Hello lovelies! I just wanted to stop by to let you know about the new addition to the website. My mom is running an online store called The Waltons Warehouse. We'll be posting what she's selling on her Facebook page on here as well. This way her store gets attention from anyone that visits my site and whomever visits from her page will get my site some attention as well.
I originally had it set up to have Westyn and Ghost done before Halloween. I have a holiday edition for Halloween that I wanted to get published on Halloween, but that isn't going to happen. However, it will happen. I'm halfway done with Westyn and then I'll start on Haunted Angels. It will be available on Amazon when finished, but I don't think I'm putting it on Kindle Unlimited. I'm unsure on that as of yet. I'm excited for this book though. I have some ideas.
Today Axyl was released on Inkitt's sister app Galatea. It's one of my favorite apps to read on. Inkitt is the free reading app that I use when I first start on a story to give my readers a chance to read the unedited version of a story. A couple months ago, Galatea asked me to sign a contract with them and I jumped on the chance to do so. When I first started writing it was one of my goals and I accomplished it. Don't give up on your dreams. Keep fighting for them and they will happen. I didn't and one of my dreams was accomplished. I have another one that is well on its way to becoming true. I've wanted to be able to write full time and slowly I'm getting to where I can do that. Go check out the book if you wish.
It's been a hell of week for me. I came down sick Monday with a sore throat and everything seemed to go downhill from there. Now, with it being Tuesday of the following week, I'm waiting for my COVID results to come in. I've been weak and stuck in bed 99 percent of the time, so I haven't had much energy to even think about writing. I haven't been able to breath laying down or sitting up. I've coughed so hard in the past eight days that my back and ribs are hurting with every move. Now, I'm sitting in front of the computer, trying to tough it out, so I can get some chapters done and some book covers done.
I recently had a woman inform me about some mistakes that I missed while editing my books myself. She kindly told me rather than reporting the book to Amazon. That went a long way in my book. If I make mistakes, there are ways to contact me. I have this website and I have my author page. I have my email as well. Anyways, she went through and edited Axyl for me! She is amazing! I asked her to become my editor and she agreed! We're currently working on Reaper. We'll go down the line through the books that I have. I know everyone is looking for updates and more releases, but I want to make sure my readers get the best that I can give them.
I'm currently working on Westyn. It's going a bit slower than I would like, but it took me a while to figure out how I wanted to start it. I finally figured it out and am going to let my brain run away with what it wants the story to be like. That's normally what happens towards the end of the books I write. Westyn is one of the books I was looking most forward to writing. Brighton is a bigger girl. She's not skinny. She's what people would call fat. I relate to this character the most because I've known her struggle. I feel that you write better when you feed off of your own experiences. So, there's the update on Westyn. I'm hoping to have it out by mid-September.
Hey everyone! I decided to talk about things that happened during my time writing Trigger. Trigger was one of the longest and quickest book I've written thus far. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked the way I had started the book, but the more it went one, the more I ended up loving it. I did change some things during editing. Anyways, we're getting off track here.
As I was working on book three of the Broken Angels, MC series, an idea came to me. I don't really go into detail of what it was like for the women to grow up and what they had endured. This series is about their life before they met the men in their lives. Except for Aliana. Her story is about getting away from the MC and finding her own way through life. Each story is different, but I wanted to get that little bit of intel on what it was like before the women got with the men.
I recently went back over the first book of the Broken Angels, MC series. I was in the middle of writing the second book, Reaper, when I realized that the timeline was all messed up. So, I went back and reworked it. I republished it on Amazon through eBook, Kindle Unlimited, and paperback. When I went to look at the reviews, there was one that made me looking to see if it even uploaded. To my horror, it didn't, but I went back and added the manuscript once again. Once it was cleared, I checked and made sure that it was the correct version. It was.
